Thomas Andrew Wells Jr. (Andy): President and Owner

Andy is the only son of Tommy and Doris Wells, the founders of Tommy Wells Construction. He began working for the company in 1983, at the age of 17 while still in High School. Andy began as a laborer and field hand on job sites up until he graduated High School. After college, Andy chose to begin working full time at the company, quickly learning all of the ins and outs of the business. In 1989, Andy became a Foreman for the company, where he stayed up until 2007. At this time, he and his siblings purchased the company from their parents, giving him the new role of President of Tommy Wells Construction. From 2007 up until today, Andy has helped grow the company, while also being in charge of numerous parts of the company such as, bidding jobs, hiring new employees, estimating jobs, scheduling, safety and overseeing all operations of the company.

Trina Wells Wyatt: Accounting and Owner

Trina is the third daughter of Tommy and Doris. She joined the company in 1982, working as an Office Assistant and Field Laborer. When the four siblings purchased the company from Tommy and Doris, Trina’s role shifted into both the clerical and management side of the company. Trina developed an OSHA approved safety program and helped to implement this new program company wide. Currently, Trina serves as Secretary and Treasurer for Tommy Wells Construction and has been active in the company for over 40 years.

Vanessa Wells-Gray: Marketing and Owner

Vanessa is the second daughter of Tommy and Doris. She joined the company in 1989, after completing her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Her first role in the company was in the field, where she assisted in laying pipe on numerous job sites. A few years later, the four children bought the company from Tommy and Doris and her role changed to Marketing and Estimating. Vanessa assisted in estimating projects, as well as marketing the company to new contractors. The goal during those years was to introduce the company to new general contractors, allowing a more diverse group of clientele. Vanessa continues to employ her skills in the field of Marketing and Sales for the company.
